This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, make an enquiry, buy a vehicle or book our International Transport service, how we use it, and your rights.

Who we are

Ludovik Motor Group Limited (company number 15936961), 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF, is the data controller for your personal information. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, under registration number ZB922817. You can view our entry on the ICO register.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address when you send an enquiry, request a valuation or finance quote, or make a booking.
• Vehicle details: make, model, number plate, mileage and condition of a vehicle you want to sell, part-exchange or transport.
• Booking details: departure date, vehicle size, price, payment method, and the name and phone number of the person collecting the vehicle.
• Documents: when you drop off a vehicle for transport, a copy of your ID and the V5C logbook, needed for export and customs.
• Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Payment information: card payments are handled by Stripe. We see that a payment was made and its amount, but we never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiries and give you valuations and quotes.
• To sell you a vehicle, or to arrange, carry out and confirm your transport booking.
• To prepare export and customs documents.
• To keep accounting, tax and VAT records, as the law requires.
• To deal with complaints and protect our legal rights.

We use your information because we need it to provide what you ask for (performing a contract), because the law requires it (for example tax, VAT and export records), or because we have a legitimate interest in running our business and responding to you. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing messages without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where needed to provide our services:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the forms you submit;
• Stripe, which processes card payments;
• Microsoft, which provides our email, and WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there;
• carriers, ports, customs agents and authorities in the UK and Albania, where needed to transport your vehicle;
• our accountants, HMRC and other authorities where the law requires.

Some of these providers process information outside the UK, including in the USA and, for transport bookings, Albania. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, or the transfer is necessary to provide the service you have booked.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don't lead to a sale or booking for up to 12 months. We keep records of sales, bookings and payments for 6 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes. After that, we delete them securely.

Keeping it safe

This website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). We limit access to your information to the people who need it, and we use reputable providers to store and process it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation.

To make a request, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If you pay by card, Stripe's payment page may use cookies needed to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
